Ellansé S is an injectable, bioresorbable dermal filler, with a soft resorbable gel composed of smooth polycaprolactone (PCL) microspheres. It combines the benefits of both immediate corrections of lines and wrinkles as well as stimulating the generation of the body’s own natural collagen. This combination ensures longer-lasting results and a more youthfull and fresh appearance. Ellansé S restores volume and contours through collagen stimulation.

Ellansé is the first dermal filler with selective duration of action between 1 and 4 years. It was developed by AQTIS Medical through a new technology which enables good product distribution and full bioresorption after expiration of its action. The gel is injected into the deep layers of the dermis and injected subdermally.

The filler consists of a unique patented composition:

• 70% Carboxymethyl Cellulose (CMC) based gel carrier
• 30% PolyCaproLactone (PCL) microspheres

The effect of polycaprolactone in Ellansé S differs from that in the tissues of hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid restores relief and improves the skin by keeping water when polycaprolactone – by producing neocollagen. After the session of the filling, the skin is tightened, the contours of the face look harmonious, and the wrinkles are smoothed out. The skin becomes elastic, acquires a rested, radiant appearance.
